Engage with Outside School Hour Care (OSHC) leaders and educators in response to current sector initiatives to invigorate and enrich practices in OSHC settings.
Designed for: OSHC Directors, Educational Leaders and OSHC Educators.
Your commitment: 2 contact hours plus any required reading.
AITSL Professional Standards for Teachers: Focus areas 2.3, 3.4, 3.7, 6.2, 6.3, 7.2 and 7.4.
Delivery mode: 1 x face-to-face workshop with option to join online via Zoom.

Program Overview: Explore the eight principles of My Time Our Place (MTOP) that reflect contemporary theories and research concerning children’s agency and place-based and relational pedagogies. Develop a case for change in your OSHC service and lead effectively using a range of principles:
- building secure, respectful and reciprocal relationships and partnerships
respecting diversity - embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives
- committing to equity, inclusion and high expectations
- considering sustainability in all its forms
- engaging in critical reflection and professional learning
- exercising collaborative leadership and working as a team
