Program Overview: The role of the middle leader is pivotal to the effective functioning of any school. Yet, middle leaders are often overlooked, expected to gain their skills through chance rather than intentional development. Leading from the middle requires a unique ability to balance tensions, navigate dilemmas, and manage multiple loyalties and priorities, all while bridging connections between staff, students and senior leadership.
