Program Overview: Join creator of the Traffic Light Model for AI Adrian Cotterell who will work with you to create and manage a vision for AI use in your school. This two-part series will focus on strategically leading a school-wide approach to AI as part of a learning and assessment approach. When expert teachers are equipped with a strong knowledge of how students learn, and the current strengths/ limitations of AI technology, they can make informed choices for when to integrate this technology into their teaching and assessment practices. Participants will directly engage with Generative AI tools.
- Consider AI through the lens of the thinking and learning process, not just academic integrity.
- Interrogate how this emerging technology can both hinder and enhance the learning process.
- Consider a consistent, structured AI approach to assessment across a secondary school context.
- Proactively lead and respond to both the challenges and opportunities this emerging technology can bring.
