Description:

This series of workshops is designed to support those leaders and support workers who are new to Vocational Education and Training (VET) in schools. Sessions will include a combination of presentations, interactive activities and planning opportunities for schools to engage with. Key focus areas include: VET and VETRO, VET Policies and Philosophies, VET Counselling, SACE and VET Resulting, School-Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships, record keeping and administration, Workplace Learning and elements of Career Counselling related to VET learning.

This is a series.  By registering you are committing to attending the following sessions:

Term 1: 02/04/2024, 9.30am-2.30pm – Immanuel College
Term 2: 11/06/2024, 9.30am-2.30pm – School location TBA
Term 3: 02/09/2024, 9.30am-2.30pm – School location TBA
Term 4: 28/10/2024, 9.30am-2.30pm – School location TBA

Audience: VET Coordinators & Support Staff who are new to their role

Delivery mode: face-to-face

Presenters: Anthony Doyle, AISSA Specialist VET and Workplace Learning Consultant and school mentors
