14th May, 2024 @ 9:00 am

Description:
Presented as a three-part series, these workshops will provide educators with the opportunity to unpack the elements of creating culturally safe classrooms and schools. Each session will be accompanied by a local Kaurna Elder who will not only share the Aboriginal world view but also support staff teams to think deeply about their own contexts in terms of cultural safety. Strategies and resources will be shared at each session as we navigate our journey together, facing challenges and asking the hard questions. The series provides ongoing support across the year. These workshops will assist participants to strengthen their advocacy and practice to create a greater impact in their school settings.
