Program Overview: This seminar is designed to equip school leaders with a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities in managing psychosocial risks at work under the Work Health Safety (WHS) Act 2012. Psychosocial risks, including stress, workplace bullying, and mental health issues, can have significant impacts on staff wellbeing and school culture. This session will provide an overview of the legal obligations schools must meet, focusing on the duty of care in identifying, assessing, and controlling these hazards.

The seminar will introduce practical tools for risk management, including strategies to mitigate and prevent psychosocial harm. Topics include:

  • building a supportive work environment
  • fostering resilience
  • implementing mental health support programs.

By the end of the seminar, participants will be prepared to implement effective psychosocial risk management strategies, ensuring both legal compliance and a healthier, more productive workplace.
