National protocols are in place that relate to adjustments for students with disability. The Guide for Schools to Assist Students with Disability to Access NAPLAN Online provides an overview of the process that teachers, in consultation with students, parents and carers, may use to assist students with disability to access online NAPLAN tests.

The focus of this session is the NAPLAN Online environment and understanding the adjustments that the online platform affords students, together with the process for determining if students require an adjustment.  Critical timelines and tasks will also be discussed.

Participants are required to bring to the session an electronic or hard copy of the:

  • 2024 Handbook for Principals (Online) and
  • Guide for Schools to Assist Students with Disability to Access NAPLAN Online, accessible at nap.edu.au

Audience: Educators responsible for liaising with students and families regarding adjustments for NAPLAN
