Having an in depth understanding of the national and local education agenda and clarity around expectations for curriculum implementation, assessment and reporting in South Australia are critical for Curriculum Co-ordinators, Heads of Teaching and Learning and Heads of School.
This masterclass is designed to support school leaders who have responsibility for curriculum leadership in schools in 2022. The dialogue and information presented will re-engage established curriculum leaders in the national and local education agenda and support individuals new to the role.
This masterclass does not replace the ongoing learning provided through attendance at the Primary Curriculum Reference Group (PCRG), the Responding to Early Adolescent Learners Group (REAL) and the Secondary Curriculum Reference Group (SCRG) meetings in 2022.
At a glance
The two-hour masterclass will brief participants on educational matters which underpin effective practices and continued improvement in schools, Awareness of these is foundational to a leadership role in curriculum and teaching and learning.
This masterclass will also assist those new to curriculum leadership to understand the context of the work undertaken by the PCRG and SCRG.
